The MOVE

Let me start by saying, I am getting to old for this. Even though we hired a 4 men team, it was a lot of work, packing, unpacking, sore muscles and tiredness.
The weather was marvelous for the move:)


Now that that is out of the way I can say we are very happy with our new home. All 4 bedrooms are on the main floor and are hardwood. It has 2 1/2 baths with a whirlpool tub and cedar sauna. Mike finally has his own office downstairs and I am glad too as before we shared and I didn't like all his clutter. My office is upstairs. we have a rec room and an exercise room in the basement. Mike finally has his stepper, weight bench out of the garage and in the house. I have vacu-flo I'm a little afraid so I haven't tried it. I have made friends with the dryer but not so sure about the washer. You can't imagine my joy at having a built in dishwasher, it's been a long 13 years since the last one.

I am soon to be 48 yrs old and I can declare that for the first time in my life we bought brand new matching furniture. I still had the stuff my parents gave me that they were getting rid of. The Lazy boy furniture is so soft, called brown sugar and they recline

I don't like back out our new driveway and we have a smaller double garage so I think we will have to buy a electric snow blower.

I'm a bit closer to work and Mike is a bit further.

The clutter is starting to make me grumpy

Next week we will be more settled and that's good.
