the weekend

Went to visit the kids this weekend. We were driving to a graveside dedication of a friend of mine and decided well considering we have just driven three hours lets continue and go visit the kids. I was planning on visiting them after our trip to EFY but that was cut short by two deaths in my ward.

So we went to NOrth Battleford the weather was rainy, but it was a grand visit. Zoe Mike and I had a great time playing cards with the Lockharts' I just wish some of my kids had more sportsmanship. We watched 17 again, my third time but I still love it. Looking forward to going again.

Mike hurt his back so he was pretty much out of commision. But I am glad he could make the trip this way. Alex was left home as he had to work two graveyards. Don't get me started on that. This is where blended families are more difficult. If he was my son I wouldn't allow it. I feel it's not safe, the location is sketchy and it's not healthy and finally you can get another job other than working at Mc Dondalds. Well he's been there over a year. Well that was my rant
